Jessica 'Jess' Prümers (she/they) is a 21 year-old Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Film Festival Coordinator and Tik-Tok Content Creator (@directedbyjess) based in Berlin, Germany.
She's an all-around-talent, with several years of expertise in filmmaking, photography, photo and video editing as well as social media, marketing and more. This is all due to her work in film alongside her success on TikTok, gaining over 60K followers and millions of likes in no time.
Jess is a life-long movie-lover turned filmmaker with a great passion for all topics leaving the frame of realism. Her passion for visual storytelling and filmmaking drives her to explore themes of sci-fi, astrophysics and dreams in her cinematic work. Sci-Fi proves to be the genre in which she can combine her interest for the surreal and weird as well as her knowledge about astrophysics. Especially dreams and their disconnection from reality find their way into many of her cinematic works.
